This textbook focuses on accounting concepts and princinples for profit-making business.such business are normally organized as sole proprietorships,partnerships,or corporations.A sole proprietorship is owned by one individual.A partnership is owned by 2 or more individuals.A corporation is organized under state or federal states as a seperate legal entity.The ownership of a corporation is divided into shares of stock.The sole prperitorship is the most common business form.However,corporations receive 90% of the total dollars of business receipts.
前面部分比较容易理解,就是最后一句中receipts的意思不太理解.它的本意不是“收据”吗?用在这里是不是有特定的意思呢?
如果是“公司总共的收入中有90%收到的是商业收据”,那同上面的意思好像衔接的不是很好
