Chinese exhibits won many prizes in previous world expositions. The Yisheng Wine was awarded with the gold medal at Expo 1906 Milan Italy; many others like the embroidery of the Portrait of Jesus, Gold Prize Brandy , and Mao-Tai Chiew were among the highlights at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition—San Francisco 1915.
