I used to have a lot of bottled up anger. I never acted out, but I was constantly stressed and felt like a *er in my own skin. When I allowed my emotions to rule me, I was not really free to enjoy life.
LET IT GO! Whatever it is that causes your anger and pain, YOU CAN control how it affects you. There are lots of things you can do to feel better when you are feeling stressed; writing down your feelings, going for a walk, talking to a friend, doing something you enjoy. The thing that, I personally believe, works the best is doing something to help someone else. If you concentrate your energy on rescuing someone else or even fighting for something you truly believe in, you’ll start to feel good about yourself. And taking the focus away from yourself is probably the best medicine for you right now.
Anger, and stress take up a lot of energy. Refocus that power and do something constructive with it and you won't believe what you can accomplish. Maybe you are just the hero someone is waiting for.

I try to figure out why I am angry.Sometimes what I think I am angry about is not the real reason I'm angry.
After I determine why I'm angry,I try to understand what all my options are for changing the situation that I reacted to in anger.I will prioritize them by the likely hood of their helping to relieve my anger.
Then I will set out to try to do all I can do to change the situation,and also,to dispel the physical aspect of the effects of the anger.(Drumming works well,as does walking,writing,talking with someone I trust about the problem,etc.)
