C 为省略成分 .when they are sitting .可是不是主过从过吗？？而且你是怎么判断省略了they are??求解~谢谢用would 不代表过去呀 ，较委婉些而已。they are sitting 表示当时的状态。还有 ，即便是would 这里就表过去，那么后面相应的就可以是 they were sitting . 其他选项都不对
