我选择在校历第三周做演讲,本以为可以获得国庆七天假的充足时间去准备.事实上,今天是假期前的最后一天,而我站在这里演讲.这说明我对校历的了解多么肤浅.

I chose to give this speech in the third week of school calendar,wondering that the seven days holiday would provide enough time for me to be well-prepared.However,now i am giving the speech right on the day before the holiday,showing how superficial my knowlege must be about school calendar.
I try my best to help,but I do not think this is a very enchanting as the begining of a speech.
