fit with和fit for区别

fit with: 与。。。和谐/配套/一致（强调性质是一样的）
例句：Do you think that your behavior fits with the occasion?

This coat doesn't fit with these slacks.
这件大衣与裤子不搭配。

fit for: 适于做。。。（强调“能够/能力”）
例句：I have to fit him for his tuxedo.
我必须他准备合身的晚礼服。
Her temperament does not fit her for this kind of work.
她的脾气不适合从事这种工作。

前者所连接的两样东西是互相适合，或者说互相搭配。比说说某人与某件衣服很搭配。
后者是指A很适合B（A fit for B）。比如这本书很适合初学者，或这家医院很适合儿童。
