Restriction on the dissolution of Ag in Sb-Au alloy chlorination leaching process
It is difficult to completely recycle Ag which dissolved in the chloride solution.In this paper,when treating with Sb-Au alloy by chlorination leaching ,four leaching mediums such as the lower concentration medium of HCI,HCI-NaCl medium,HCl-H2SO4 medium and the higher concentration medium of HCI were studied to restrict the dissolution of Ag into chloride solution.Results showed that the acidity,the leaching potential and the total concentration of Cl- in the medium were key factors.Treating with the alloy in HCl-H2SO4 medium,while the condition was controlled as:HCI 5mol/L,H2sO4 1mol/L,L/S 7:1,potential 100mv.The leaching rate of Sb was 89.1%,the residue rate was 5.5%,and about 82.5%of Ag in raw alloy remained in the residue.
