It also plans to build coal-using power plants that can generate 10.74 million kilowatts of electricity,with an objective to launch their operation by late 2020,while constructing renewable power plants producing a combined 4.56 million kilowatts of electricity.
With the additional power generating capacity,the ministry predicted that it can raise the country's electricity reserve rate to 22 percent by 2027.Despite operation halts caused by either aging parts or maintenance works,the reserve rate could remain at around 15 percent,it noted.
