Quaint and Convenient
Travelling with two families each with children makes it difficult in
Europe sometimes in finding rooms that accomodate.The room our families (both) stayed in had an ante-chamber which served as a quaint second bedroom for
the children; a well appointed master bedroom and a large bathroom.Though we had gone to Europe several times,we were warned that it would be difficult to
find family oriented rooms.The breakfast buffet was hot and had plenty of variety -- well beyond expectations.The small hotels on the street host
several restauraunts,however,they cater to the tourist and are less authentic.Ask for recommendations for local fare that will be better suited for
someone who wants to have more original and quality fare.The train station is a ten minute walk and the in the heat of August,this is about as far as you
want to go.It certainly makes seeing the whole city easier.
The hotel is clean,very quaint -- not large and has the caged,small elevator you expect to find in an older building.Definitely a good deal.
