According to scientist,there are a total of 8.7 million kinds of plants and animals on Earth.
we all know that Earth is home to lots of differernt types of plants and animals,but according to experts,there are 8.7million species on our planet!
Scientists say that although this number is just an estimate,they believe it is the most accurate estimate to date?
Out of these 8.7million,6.5million live on land and 2.2 million live in the ocean.Of the 8.7million estimated,only 1.2million have been officially named and descrbed.What's sad is that experts have gone on to say that by the time the remaining 7.5 million species are identified,many of them will be extinct
