Three Golden statuettes
There was once a small country offering tributes to a large country. The tributes were three golden statuettes, shining all around, making the king in high spirits. But the emissary from the small country asked a question, worrying everybody. That was which one of the three statuettes was most valuable?
The king asked the jeweler to check them by weighing the weigh, cheching the hand-made skills.Everything of them was all the same. What could we do?The emissary was waiting for the answer. In such a big country, how couldn't we finish the task!
Finally,a veteran who was going to retire said he got an idea.So the king invited the veteran to the hall and the veteran put three straw into the golden statuettes' ears. Then we saw that the straw came out from the first one's ear on the other side. The second straw come out from the second statuette's mouth.Only the third straw went right into the statuette's stomach with nothing out.The veteran said that the third one is the most valuable one!The emissary nodded his head and said the answer was correct.
This story tells us that ,the most valuable person is not the one who is good at speaking. The God gives us two ears and one mouth, in order to make us listen more and say less. Learn to listen carefully is the basic quality to be amature person.OK了
