Service Level Requirements
(a) Fill-Rate details the number of orders received each day,the number and percentage of orders shipped the day the order was received,the number and percentage of orders shipped within 72 hours of receipt,and the number of orders that have not shipped.Fill rates are calculated as follows:the total number of orders submitted divided into the total number of shipments of those orders within 72 hours.Ninety Eight percent (98%) of all part orders received by SELLER shall be shipped within 72 hours of receipt of the Part order from BUYER (or its designee),excluding Saturdays,Sundays and locally recognized holidays.
(b) Back-Order.When a part order cannot not be shipped within the fill-rate requirements,it is then deemed as a back-ordered part.The following questions should be answered to help determine back-order status
• Can the part ship within 72 hours.
• Is there a viable substitute/universal part available in place of the original.
• Does another solution exist to repair the unit
SELLER shall provide a Backorder Report on a weekly basis to BUYER listing all part orders that have not been shipped and contain at minimum the following information:
• Service Order number
• Vendors Sales Order number
• Part number on order
• Description of part number
• ETA,which is the date that SELLER estimates the part(s) will arrive at the address specified by the order.
