Eating in western（西方的）restaurants is a little different from eating in Chinese ones.It is necessary to understand the differences and to act politely.As they say when in Rome（罗马）,do as the Romans do.
When you first arrive at the restaurant,you should waiter for the water to show you to a table.Sometimes it is all right to find a table for yourself,but you should ask first.In a western restaurant,each person usually asks for his own food or dishes and eats what he ask for.Western people don’t put all of the food in the middle of the table to share.
One of the biggest differences between Chinese restaurants and western ones is that most Chinese restaurants are noisy,but most western restaurants are quiet and people there speak in a low voice.Don’t shout to the waiters,or people may think that you are rude（粗鲁的）.
If you need help,you should try to ask with your eyes instead of your voice.It’s better not to put up your hand,either.
