The Orissa government has proposed 14 potential sites for developing minor ports in the sate.Currently operational minor ports are Dhamra port and Gopalpur in Ganjam,Of the 14 sites,the defence ministry has objected on security grounds to having commercial ports at Bahabalpur,Chandipur,Inchudi and Chadamani.
