kept 改成keeping，这里是主动，而不是被动，所以用keeping
billion复数有两种形式：billion和billions，billions是数十亿，无数。。的意思，一般单独使用，如：billions of，billion当复数才是十亿，这里明显是几个十亿，所以用billion，如果没有sevral，后面又有of就用billions了
这里的would是will的过去式，表示愿意的意思，意思是他们不愿意降低嗓门，而不是情态动词，也不是表将来

kept是过去分词形式，而这句话中keeping time by...做的是状语成分，相当于which keep time，当然了不用从句的话，就应该使用现在分词形式也就是keeping time
billion加s之后不表示具体的几十亿数量，而是指成千上万，非常多的意思，并且后面要加of
文中several billion是指几十亿，因此不能加s
more than enough apples和enough apples意思都不同啊，前者是指比足够的要多，而后者仅仅只是足够
最后一个，这个句子是过去时态，因此will也要用过去式would，这里没有错
voice做“声音”讲是不可数名词，因此不加s
