语法书上说的只是一般情况,而且是跟在后面的那种,如下:
There is some water in the bottle.
There is not any water in the bottle.
此时,肯定用some,否定用any.
你问的这个some是跟children连起来作主语,跟这个语法点没有直接联系,这时可以用肯定也可以用否定.
