应该是was used to do就是use的被动语态（此为过去时,原型为be used to do)
例：The pens are used to write.
(We use pens to write.)
was use to doing意为习惯于做什么（此为过去时,原型为is used to being）
例：I used to drinking milk in the morning.
另外还有一个used to do,意思是过去常常...
例：I used to smoke.
