Their roots hold the soil and keep it from washing away when it rains; They provide homes for other animals; They make it quieter by absorbing and reflecting loud noises; Some trees give us fruits and nuts to eat;Trees make a difference. They determine whether an area is comfortable to walk in or soothing to look at at any time of the year.
