Curiosity is a tenacious fellow.Ever present,he is always leaving us wondering,“What would happen if I ...” And of course,it was he who killed that cat.
Or did he?
As children,we are forever questioning things. We want to know what this is,how it works and where it came from.Curiosity is our steadfast friend. With him,we are kings and queens of magical lands. Then,as we grow older,we have less and less time for Curiosity. We are busy with other things that we think are more important.
But if everyone had no time for Curiosity — where would this world be today?Without our explorers, many countries would remain undiscovered.Without our inventors, many things would not exist.Without our scientists, many diseases would still plague this earth.
Without Curiosity, people would miss out on chances to travel and explore the world. It was the curiosity to experience the culture, learn the language, see the country and make new friends that brought me ten hours across the sea to China, and now all my friends from Australia are curious to find out why I love it here!
So,the next time Curiosity taps you on the shoulder or whispers in your ear, don’t brush him away.Don’t be afraid to take Curiosity by the hand and see where he leads you. After all,Albert Einstein once said “The important thing is not to stop questioning” because a life without Curiosity is a life without learning.
And don’t worry about the cat — if Curiosity didn’t kill it,routine and boredom probably would have killed it in the end anyway
