the same ... as 是固定结构，意思是“与...同样的”
as 后面要跟me，不是 i

确切的说应该用as me，介词后面用宾格

as后一般是加宾格（如：me,you,him,her,them,it.)
如果用as，要改成He has the same age as I do（前后一致）
书上写的是 she is the same age as me 主语“她” 和后面的“我” 一致
又如Your age is the same as mine.主语“你的”和后面的“我的”一致

the same as 固定搭配，不是I的问题
as是介词，后面用I的宾格me。
me很多时候可以代替I的，比如在做主语的时候，会常说You and me，如奥运主题曲
