这两句话中,为什么上面一个可以省略（that、who）,下面一个不可以?
另外,The books （that) I bought yesterday are stolen, 为什么that可以省略?

关系代词作宾语才可以省略
这里1,3句是做宾语的,第二句是做主语的!所以第二句不能省略!
【俊狼猎英】 欢迎追问!可否直观通俗的解释一下宾语？另外第三句中the books，为什么我觉得是主语？不好意思做宾语是指在从句中做宾语：以第一个句子为例子：I am not the guy (that) you know.从句是that you know. 从句总，主语是you, 谓语是know, 宾语是that上面两个懂了。第三句话，the book that .....我还是没搞懂。貌似that应该是主语the book that i bought yesterday are stolen.同样， 从句是that i bought yesterday.. 其中，i 是主语， bought是谓语， that是宾语懂了！另外可否帮我分析一下这句话：Those of us （who are）not yet fully conditioned to the new American attiudes toward children yearn for the charm and innocence of them.这个who are为什么省略？这里拿掉who are 剩下的是not conditioned 过去分词作定语了比如 The boy called Jack is my brother!定语从句省略原则就是 关系代词作宾语时可以省略。 没别的了。你最后追问的那个句子，who are... 是定语从句， 拿掉就不是定语从句了， 不属于定语从句范畴，属于非谓语动词了。
