Learning a second language has numerous uses in life, as the maxim goes, language is power. I learn English chiefly to familiarize myself with different cultures. Once I have mastered English, I can communicate with other English speakers and get to know the world better. Also, learning English allows me to watch Hollywood movies and English songs, both of which I hold great enthusiasm towards. I learn English mainly by reading, I can improve my vocabulary and my grammar through reading books. Reading books also keeps me entertained when I'm bored, so it's a win-win situation.
