关于核酸电泳的bp估算
我在跑DNA双链电泳中条带在750bp的位置,请问这表示有DNA双链有750对碱基吗,也就是说双链共有1500个碱基,是不是这么算的要乘2的,如果是单链DNA呢,就是表示共有750个碱基吗,如果我不知道是双链还是单链,不是没辙了?不知道我哪里想错了,有懂的吗

All you said is correct,but you would like to run single chain gel,you have to denature the DNA and run it in formaldehyde gel.
If you would like to know whether the DNA is single stranded or double strand,run a regular gel and a denature gel with the DNA,you would be able to tell.
If the DNA is single stranded 750 base,in the regular gel it will move faster than 750 bp,but will be 750 base in denature gel.
