Dear editor,
I am writing to inform you of my unhappy experience lately.On June 5th,I went to buy an XXX English Dictionary for Advanced Learners at the YYY Foreign Bookstore.Unfortunately,when I went home,I was astonished to find that several pages were stained,some were folded,and a few more were even missing.
To resolve the problem,I immediately went back to the bookstore and managed to find the same shop assistant,who said she could do nothing about it and asked me to go directly to the manager.I made great efforts to meet the manager in person,only to be told it was not their fault – the publisher was the real party to blame.
Up until now,I have been thinking of this happening.I believe that it is more than necessary for the whole tertiary industry to improve the service quality.Only when the service is performed properly and satisfactorily can the needs of the customers be satisfied and the national economy be put on the right track.
