A is to B what C is to D 的句型,将what从句放句首

A is to B what C is to D 的句型,将what从句放句首
Air is to us what water is to fish.
What the leaves are to the forest the are to the world.

What water is to fish air is to us. What water is to fish the air is to us.
另外,我在网上还看到另一种句式:what water is to fish is what love is to mankind.

我觉得冠词应该跟着名词,特指the air, the star, the sun 等,the不能缺少的,最后那个what water is to fish is what love is to mankind,我认为从语法讲是对的.
