这个主要是in/at/on 的不同，跟前面的be located关系不大（换言之，即使前面变成了其他的比如说is, be put, 区别还是因为接in/at/on 而不同）
in 表在某物里面，比如 be located in the room, in the box, in the city
at 表示比较精确的地方，比如 be located at the corner of the street, at home
on表示在某物上面，比如be located on the table
