If you ask me what is the color of my life, I will tell you a story that happened to me. I remembered it was the start of my fourth grade, and it was a Wednesday. I was looking forward to my teacher’s comment of my first weekly journal. Even though the comment consisted of just two lines, I was delighted because my teacher had selected me to be the Language Class representative. This was such a surprise, because my grammar was not the best in the class and my penmanship was not good. I do not even want to bring up the level of my essay writing. This was a surprise indeed. I was nevertheless quite excited. Since that day, I had studied hard and practiced my calligraphy. I helped my teacher to collect and correct assignments. Not only did I become the Language Class representative, I also won the approval of my teacher and classmates. From this event, I think my life is purple. As long as I work hard, I will have unexpected rewards. This encourages me to search for more surprises and more rewards.
