In the process of internationalizing China's enterprises,steps should be taken to incorporate the cost advantage possessed by these enterprises together with the advantages of brought about by foreign brands and to implement the OEM strategy.However,the cost advantage which China's enterprises possess currently is merely provision and unstable.As such,focus should be put on economies of scale,supply chain management,innovative technologies and enterprise culture etc.with a view to creating a sustainable cost advantage.Furthermore,China's enterprises should also have a thorough understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the OEM strategy in order to obtain inspiration during the process.They should make full use of OEM to help nurture and maintain their own brands as well as to cultivate the enterprises' core competitiveness.
