A year ago I went through one of the most difficult times in my life. I had lost my family and my business all within a month. I chose a less crowded area for tourists to see if I could gain my confidence in life again. I booked a day trip to see the whales. I sat in a little motor boat with 5 other people to see the whales.
We soon saw a couple of water spouts1, which our guide said were whales. To my amazement, all of a sudden, one surfaced2 right in front of my face. Everyone tried to take pictures of her under the water before she swam away. She looked me right in the eye. I reached out to touch her. She stayed out of the water long enough for me to feel her. It was an amazing feeling. Then she swam away. A little later, the guide yelled that two whales were coming close to the boat. It was my new friend with her baby. It was unbelievable to see how she pushed her baby towards our boat. She was bringing her baby to meet me!
On the trip back everyone was cheerfully talking about the experience. The guide told us that only once before had he witnessed a whale allowing someone to touch it.
Why did this happen? I have no explanation for why she chose me for the privilege. Maybe the mother whale sensed my sadness. She helped me to see the light, even though I was in a very dark place.
That magical meeting paved the way for me to put life back into perspective.
That huge beautiful creature made me understand that despite the obstacles life puts in your way, there is always an opportunity for a new beginning. You must never give up

I am an outgoing kind of boy/girl.So,I have many friends.But one of them is the most special in my life.
I love English ,I think that language is like a piece of beautiful music.So I want to have a foreign friend to talk to me.That's one of my dreams.John is my classmate Mary's friend who went to the US with his family.
As I would like,I was really excited that I got John's QQ number from Mary.After a few days,we became good friends.Every day we talk about the things we are interested in.But because of the time difference,we can only say a few words each day.Although I never felt bored.Because with his help,I can improve my English as soon as possible.And I also achieved my dream.
This is my special friend.he gave me a lot of help in English.I am very thankful to him.And I think I also can do something for him.
