be important to和be important for 有什么区别?

it is important to do sth.
it is important for sb.to do sth.
后接的成份不一样。

to在这里是个动词不定式，所以后面加动词原型，be important to do sth
而for 是介词，后接名词，代词或动名词，be important for sth ,sb,or doing

英语课本人民教育出版社九年级46页右下角有一句“That's not really important to me.”，75页中间有一句“Why were the Berlin Olympics important for basketball?”。由此可见，“to”后面加sb.，“for”后面加sth.
