I wish I were young and Chinese.I am happy but if I were young and Chinese,I would be very happy.The future looks so bright for young people here.
The new year,2007,is the first step toward tomorrow.It begins a big and important time for Shanghai and for China.The Special Olympics will be held in Shanghai in 2007 and thousands of athletes and spectators from all over the world will be coming.It will be a great opportunity to meet and talk to people from other cultures.
And,of course,in 2008 there will be the Olympics.It will be a wonderful chance for you to speak English.Some of you may even work as volunteers for the Olympics.

真希望我是个年轻的中国人.我已经很快乐,但如果我是个年轻的中国人,我会非常快乐.（因为中国）这里的年轻人的未来似乎充满光明（希望）.
新的一年2007年,正是走向明天的第一步.它为中国尤其是中国上海走入一个重大的时代划开了序幕.特奥会将在2007年于上海举行.届时数以千计的运动员和观众将会来到上海.那将是一个和来自各种文化背景的人交流沟通的重要机会.
