而瓷器大致可分为釉下彩瓷、单色釉瓷和彩瓷.「单色釉」最突出的是永乐年(1403-1424),而永乐成功烧制的甜白器,是单色釉瓷器发展的一大成就.而宣德年(1426-1435)是「红釉」和「蓝釉」、成化年(1465-1487)是孔雀绿、和弘治(1488-1505)是黄釉.
