在上面这两句话中,用的都是with sth.+不定式的结构,为什么第一句用被动（to be taken care of）,而第二句用的是主动（to take care of）?

因为前面一句，孩子是要被照顾的
后面一句其实是省略了with nothing (i have) to take care of ,

第一句to be taken care of修饰的是children，而children是被照顾的对象，所以此处是被动。
第二句take care of的主语是I，是I没有事情可做，所以用主动。
试比较：
I take care of something.
The children was taken care of by me.
不定式结构用主动还是被动，和这个不定式修饰的对象有关，和with sth.没有必然联系。

第一句是错的.应该是with two small children to take care of.在with的复合结构中,表示将来的,表示为：with + 宾语+ to do ( 无被动）.除非下面这种情况,动作的实施者不是主语.例如：1.With the children to be tak...
