A favorable BOP account means that neither surplus nor occurs on a nation's BOP account.The equilibrium has three implications.First,it refers to trade equilibrium,which mean that exports equal imports.If exports exceed imports,trade surplus will appear .The second implication is current account's equilibrium.If trade iteam runs a deficit ,the invisible trade item can make it up .The last implication refers to a balance on the overall balance of payments statement.In reality,all countries want to realize a balanced trade first ,which es the basis of a favorable BOP account .If not ,they hope to cover the deficit by invisible trade so as to achieve a current account balance .If not ,the capital account is going to be used to finance the gap .Finally ,if it is still not ,the governments have to draw on their foreign reserve assets.Clearly ,withdrawal on reserves should be used as a last resort.
